Clearing clutter from our lives is a healthy practice. Many of us start by cleaning and tidying up our physical space by removing items that no longer serve us. But, what is left when you clean out that closet and still feel a pang of heaviness? Psychic clutter is the culprit.

Cultivate a meditation practice.
Create a quiet space to sit. Allow yourself to release any energy that is no longer a match to your highest good. Just sit and release this energy into the center of the Earth. Mother Nature will take that energy and recycle it for better use. You do not have to know what this energy is or from or who caused it, all you have to do is sit and release. Your body and spirit will do the rest of the work. If you want, you can also practice releasing specific energy such as frustration or anger. If you stay consistent with this practice, you will notice a significant release of internal energetic clutter.
Match a higher vibration.
Many years ago I attended a Lenny Kravitz music concert in a 22,500 person venue. At the end of his show, Lenny began to chant the words “Let Love Rule,” from his song by the same name. Before long, every person in that packed amphitheater had joined in the chant. As the energy of love grew and grew I could feel healing energy wash over me. It enveloped spaces in my body and aura that had been craving healing for quite some time. I didn’t want the chanting to stop. I felt rejuvenated and elated by the shared mystical experience.
Be daring and make a decision.
How you react and interpret life circumstances equals a vibrational energy that you carry in your body and aura. When matching confusion, frustration, and instability energy, you will notice these frequencies create and enable the growth of psychic clutter. When working consciously to release these useless energies through a meditation practice and matching higher vibrations, you allow yourself to focus on your spirit’s purpose, act out of love, kindness, and a desire to create a positive lifestyle. So, what kind of energy do you want to carry with you each day?
Match your intentions and intuition.
What are your life values and how do they match your daily priorities and actions? When these two forces are not in sync we feel unfulfilled and frustrated. Instead, take the time to identify your values and priorities and intentionally make decisions that are a match. At the end of the day, if you feel good about your choices, you know you are moving in the right direction, acting on your intentions. When you create a match to your highest vibration, watch your daily experience and the world around you shift. Each of us has the power to create this vibrational change.
